Streaming means that the video plays while you are downloading it.
This is a significant step past the old method of downloading a file, then playing it from your hard drive. The video that is available in Windows
Media and Real formats will stream smoothly, depending on your internet connection. If you are using a modem slower than 56k, press the pause button
on the player that pops up, then wait a bit before playing. Files to download and play are available in Quicktime format.
NEED A PLAYER?
No Problem! They are free! The Windows Media Player is free and offers the best image and audio quality available at web speeds. The Real Player G2 is also free, but hard to find on Real's site. Look for the free
version if you don't want to spend $30 on their real Player G2 Plus. The Quicktime Player is also free, and offers great quality at higher bandwidths.
